Capture Nevada is an experience in the beautiful art of capturing wildlife in nature through photography, created by Frank Pileggi, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Nevada National Guard, who served from 1994 to 2000, and again from 2004 to 2006. Frank is a lifelong Nevadan with a deep passion for outdoors and wildlife conservation. He has called the Silver State his home since 1981, and his connection to Nevada’s rugged landscapes runs as deep as its desert roots. With a lifetime of exploring Nevada’s wild places, Frank brings a unique perspective to every photograph and adventure.

Today he channels that same dedication into Capture Nevada, blending artistry with advocacy to inspire appreciation for Nevada’s natural treasures. Every image tells a story: wild mustangs, majestic big game, diverse wildlife, as well as the breathtaking landscapes and historic old towns that make Nevada unique and define the Silver State.

His mission goes beyond photography. Frank is committed to helping others. With almost 15 years of processing and adjudicating claims for the Department of Veteran Affairs, and now as the Resource and Outreach Director serving Veterans for Northern Nevada Community Housing, Frank wants to extend his service to his fellow Veterans by bringing them into the field to experience the serenity and wonder of Nevada’s outdoors. These adventures offer a chance to reconnect with nature, find peace, and work through personal and service-related traumas in a healing environment.
